The 12 Months of Giving program is our flagship giving program and is designed to highlight and provide significant support to deserving grassroots organizations that are making a real difference in the communities Grand Appliance serves.

2025 Honorees

March/April Honoree

Building Our Future – Kenosha, WI

For March and April, Grand Foundation is honored to partner with Building our Future in Kenosha, WI. It is an initiative that brings all facets of the community together for a common goal. Some of participating groups include businesses, schools, universities, non-profit groups and social service agencies. Building Our Future is part of a national chapter under the Strive Together partnership. The goal of Building our Future is to foster the development of early childhood education. January/February Honoree

Prevent Suicide Fox Cities 

Suicide is a tragedy that affects many families in the United States each year. Prevent Suicide Fox Cities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in northeastern Wisconsin that helps individuals and families impacted by suicide. It is run entirely by volunteers and their vision is to decrease suicide and its toll on survivors.

Prevent Suicide Fox Cities’ mission is to end the stigma of mental health through education and awareness. PSFC promotes mental well-being. Their services include QPR Gatekeeper Training free to the community and support after suicide (SAS) loss groups for the universal community and siblings. Additionally, they act as a resource to those seeking suicide prevention information and support.

The Grand Foundation is honored to support Prevent Suicide Fox Cities and all they do for the health and mental well-being of their home communities.

November/December Honoree

UW MIA Recovery and Identification Project – Madison, WI

This project researches and recovers missing service members from conflicts since the Second World War, with a special focus on those missing from Wisconsin. Since the project began in 2016, four previously missing servicemembers have been recovered from digs in France and Belgium. The project is run almost entirely by volunteers and student researchers and operates with funding from grants and private donations. The university provides some office space, but otherwise, we do not receive any funding.

Gigi’s Playhouse – Deerfield, IL

Grand Foundation is thrilled to support Gigi’s Playhouse located in Deerfield, IL! Gigi’s mission 
is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all. Gigi’s Playhouse promises a lifetime commitment to families. They aim to change lives through consistent delivery of free educational therapeutic based, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and community through a playhouse model. We could not be prouder to stand behind this wonderful organization.

May/June Honoree

Civic Theatre of Greater Layfayette-Layfayette, IN

The mission of the theater is to enhance the artistic and cultural environment of Greater Layfayette, IN through theatrical productions and educational opportunities. This community theater has been in the community since the 1930’s. It hosts main stage productions, stage readings and youth theater shows. It is open to any interested actor. Other offerings include theater classes and camps.The Grand Foundation is honored to feature and support this community theater that enhances the Layfayette community with a place to bring stories to life on stage.

Mar/Apr Honoree

Indy Hygiene Hub, Indianapolis, IN

Indy Hygiene Hub provides hygiene items to families around Indianapolis to affirm dignity and restore hope. They host a drive-thru pantry on the third Saturday of every month where they serve over 150 Indianapolis families. Families pull up in their cars and are handed a bag of hygiene items: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bar soap, razor, deodorant, toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste, and if needed/available, cleaning supplies, diapers, wipes, pads, or tampons. What originally started as founder Christina utilizing extreme couponing to stockpile items out of her home has now expanded into a full pantry and board, eager to serve the Indianapolis community.

Grand Foundation is honored to support this group and host a hygiene drive at our 4 Indianapolis locations.
